VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. -- The Apprentice School golf team opened their spring season this past weekend and came in eighth place in the Towne Bank Marlin Invitational held at Virginia Beach National Golf Course.
On Sunday they shot a 351 round as Daniel Campbell was the low man for Sunday's final round with an 83, followed by Wade Traynham with an 84. For the event, Traynham was the low man for the Builders with a 162 total to finish in a tie fir 22nd and Campbell was next with a 167 to be in a tie for 28th.
Christopher Newport University and Wake Technical Community College tied for team honors with a 610. CNU shot a 298 final round, while Wake was at 306.
Next up for the Builders will be the Lynchburg Invitational this weekend in Lynchburg, Va.
