FOREST, VA. -- The Apprentice School golf team shot a combined 329 on Sunday in the first round of the Lynchburg Invitational held at the 6,938-yard par-72 course at London Downs Golf Course.

Wade Traynham and Mike Hastings each shot a nine-over-par 81, while Daniel Campbell added an 82 to lead the Builders.  Averett leads the event with a 303, followed by Virginia Wesleyan with a 306 and Lynchburg College White at 316.

The final round will tee-off at 10:30 am on Monday.
