Golfers Finish Fifth At Lynchburg Invitational

FOREST, VA. -- The golf team shot one of their better rounds of the season on the final day of the Lynchburg Invitational in Forest, Va. and kept a hold of fifth place in the tournament.

Apprentice School shot a 317 on the final day to end the tournament with a 646 total and remained in fifth place in the event.  Wade Traynham and Daniel Campbell turned in the low rounds of the day for the Builders with a seven-over-par 78 each.  Traynham shot a 159 total for the tournament while Campbell was next with a 160.

Mike Hastings tied Campbell in the event with a 160 after firing a 79 on Monday, while Kyle Radcliff was the next lowest on Monday with an 82 for a tournament total of 169.  Nick Carlson added an 88 on Monday to finish the event with a 173 over the 6,938 yard London Downs Golf Course.

On Friday the Builders will take to the course again in the Builder Spring Invitational at Sleepy Hole Golf Course in Suffolk.
