Golf Team Takes Second In Spring Invitational

SUFFOLK, VA. -- The Apprentice School golf team shot a 339 round on Friday afternoon and took second place in the Spring Invitational held at Sleepy Hole Golf Course in Suffolk.

Daniel Campbell was the low man for the Builders with a seven-over-par 79, while Wade Traynham was the next lowest for the Builders with an 80. The Builders had a second team in the event and they were topped by Kyle Center with a 91 for a team total of 404.

Virginia Wesleyan won the event with a 333 total as Trae Kresinske was the medalist in the event with a 77.  Brett Hull was the next lowest for the Marlins with an 82 to be fourth individually.

Next up for the Builders will be the Builder Challenge at The Woodlands in Hampton on March 26.
