Builders Sit 13th After Round One At Hampden-Sydney Invitational

 

FARMVILLE, VA. - The Apprentice School golf team competed on Monday in the opening round of the Hampden-Sydney Invitational at The Manor CC in Farmville and came away in 13th place with a 363 total over a very windy course.

Junior Daniel Campbell was the low man for the Builders on Monday carding a ten-over-par 82 to rank 11th in the 66-person event.  Next in line was fellow junior Wade Traynham who came in at an 86 to rank tied for 32nd.

Randolph-Macon College leads the event with a 321, followed by Hampden-Sydney and Virginia Wesleyan College at 325 apiece.

The final round of the event will take place on Tuesday morning.
