STATE COLLEGE, PA. -- The golf team finished its fall season by coming in fifth place out of 12 teams in the 2009 USCAA Golf Nationals in State College, Pa. on Tuesday. They shot a 336 on Tuesday to finish with a 653 total for the two-day event.
Rochester College held onto its first-day lead by firing a 301 on Tuesday for a 608 total to win the team title. Penn State Mont Alto came in second with a 312 on Tuesday for a 632, while Penn State Wilkes-Barre was third with a 641 total. The defending champions Penn College was fourth with a 650 total, then the Builders at 653.
Junior Daniel Campbell was the low man for the Builders in the event finishing in 14th place with a 160 after a second-day 79. Sophomore Kyle Radcliff was next in a tie for 17th with a 163 total.
This was the last event of the 2009 portion of their schedule.
