Apprentice School sophomore golfer Kyle Radcliff was recently named to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic team after the national tournament.
Radcliff, a sophomore sheet metal apprentice from Menchville High School in Newport News, had a pair of top six finishes in the fall season for the Builders. His low round was a 76 in the Apprentice Fall Fling where he was in a tie for sixth. In the season opening dual match at SUNY Delhi he finished in a tie for fourth with a 78.
To be eligible for the award a person had to be at least a sophomore in eligibility and maintain a minimum 3.5 grade point average. The Builders will open the spring 2010 season in February.
