Golf Team Sits Third After Day One At Delhi Dual

DELHI, NY – The Apprentice School started a two-day dual match with NAIA power SUNY Delhi and are sitting in third place after round one with a 315.  Each school put in two teams in the match.

Apprentice School was paced by senior Daniel Campbell who shot a five-over-par 77 on the 6,500 yard College Golf course at Delhi.  Senior Wade Traynham and freshman Ben Hunter were next for the Builders with 78 apiece.  Freshman Cody Griffith topped the Gold team for the Builders with an 82.

The hosts shot a combined nine-over-par 297 to lead the event by 18 strokes over Apprentice School Maroon and 14 strokes over SUNY Delhi B team.

Sunday's final round will be a shotgun start at 9 am.
