DELHI, NY – The Apprentice School golf team finished a weekend swing through New York by finishing second in a four-team dual with SUNY Delhi. Apprentice School and SUNY Delhi each put in two teams in the weekend event at the College Golf Course at Delhi.
Apprentice School Maroon shot a 309 in the second round to finish the event with a 624. The hosts A team shot 316 on Sunday to finish at 613. Apprentice School Gold shot 378 on Sunday to finish with 737, while the hosts B team shot 322 for a 633 total.
Senior Daniel Campbell was the low man for the Builders in the event finishing tied for second with a 75 on Sunday for a 152 total. Fellow senior Wade Traynham was fifth in the match with a 77 on Sunday for a 155 total. Freshman Ben Hunter was sixth with his second 78 of the weekend for a 156 total.
Apprentice School will now host the Fall Invitational on Thursday at Sleepy Hole Golf Course in Suffolk.
