Golf Team Finishes 12th At Tom Kinder Memorial

HARRISONBURG, Va. -- The Apprentice School golf team finished 12th in the 2010 Tom Kinder Memorial Tournament hosted by Bridgewater College at the Lakeview Golf Course in Harrisonburg on Monday.

Senior Wade Traynham was the low man in the tournament for the Builders with an eight-over-par 152 to finish in a tie for 20th place.  Freshman Ben Hunter was next with a 165 two-day total to finish in a tie for 47th.

Individually on Monday, Traynham was the low round for the team with a 77, followed by junior Kyle Radcliff with an 83, Hunter carded an 85 and freshman Les White added an 86 for a 331 final round total.

Christopher Newport University won the 15-team event with a 586 total, followed by Randolph-Macon (593) and Bridgewater A (597).

Apprentice School takes to the links again on Friday in the Builder Fall Classic at The Woodlands in Hampton.
