Golf Team Finishes Fifth At Glenn Heath Memorial

WILLIAMSBURG, VA. -- The Apprentice School golf team had a tough round on Tuesday and finished fifth out of 11 teams in the Glenn Heath Shipbuilders Memorial at Fords Colony-Marsh Hawk course.

SUNY Delhi overtook the Builders with a 326 on Tuesday to win the team title with a 646 two-day total.  N.C. Wesleyan was second, while Lynchburg was third.  Apprentice School shot a 356 on Tuesday to finish fifth with a 672.

Freshman Ben Hunter was the low man for the Builders with a 166 total to finish in 11th place.  Fellow freshman Kyle Mutter was next at 168 to finish 15th as they were the only Builders to place in the top 20 overall.

The team looks to rebound over this weekend as they'll compete in the Roanoke College Invitational in Salem, Va. on April 9-10.
