Golf Team Finishes 15th At Tom Kinder Memorial

HARRISONBURG, VA. -- The Apprentice School golf team shaved three strokes off their first round total on Monday but still finished 15th place in the Tom Kinder Memorial Tournament hosted by Bridgewater College.

Apprentice School shot a 323 round on Monday to go with its 326 on Sunday for a 649 total. Bridgewater College won the event with a 585 total to defeat Washington & Lee by ten strokes.

Sophomore Ben Hunter was the low man on Monday and for the tournament for the Builders as he carded a 74 to finish at 153 and tied for 28th overall.  Freshman Kyle Mutter was next with his second straight 77 to finish at 154 and tied for 34th.

Next up for the Builders will be the Hampden-Sydney Invitational in Farmville on September 26-27.
