Golf In 13th After Day One Of Ted Keller Memorial

GLEN ALLEN, VA. -- The Apprentice School golf team sits in 13th place after day one of the Ted Keller Memorial Tournament hosted by Randolph-Macon College at Hunting Hawk Golf Course on Saturday.

Freshman Kyle Mutter leads the Builders in day one after firing a four-over-par 76 to sit in a tie for 19th place in the 75 person event.  Sophomore Ben Hunter is one stroke behind Mutter after a 77 to sit in a tie for 24th.  Other Builder scorers included Kyle Radcliff (83), Blake Henger (90) and Will Smith (90) to finish with a 326.

Hampden-Sydney leads the tournament with a 293, followed by Franklin & Marshall (296) and Averett (299) over the par-72, 6,882-yard Hunting Hawk Golf course.  Kalle Kangas of Averett leads after firing a three-under-par 69.

The tournament concludes on Sunday morning with an 8:30 am shotgun start.
