Golf Team Finishes 13th At Ted Keller Memorial

GLEN ALLEN, VA. -- The Apprentice School golf team shot a 328 total on Sunday and finished in 13th place at the Ted Keller Memorial Tournament hosted by Randolph-Macon College at Hunting Hawk Golf Course.

Sophomore Ben Hunter finished tied for 11th place in the event with a final round of three-over-par 75 to total a 152.  Freshman Kyle Mutter ended in a tie for 14th place with a final round of 77 for a 153 total.  Rounding out the scorers for the Builders included senior Kyle Radcliff (85-168), Blake Henger (91-181) and Will Smith (94-184).

Hampden-Sydney held onto its first round lead to win the event with a 601 total, followed by Franklin & Marshall (604) and Averett (611).  Bobby Suigals of Franklin & Marshall shot a one-under-par 71 to take medalist honors with a three-under 141 to win by five strokes.

The fall season will conclude for the Builders October 9-11 at the USCAA Nationals in State College, Pa.
