Golf Team Sits Fourth At Shenandoah Invitational

WINCHESTER, VA. -- The Apprentice School golf team opened play on Sunday at the Shenandoah Invitational carding a 330 team total to sit in fourth place after round one.

Junior Ben Hunter shares the medalist lead with John Dozier of Virginia Wesleyan College with a one-over-par 73 on the 6,806-yard, par-72 Winchester Country Club course.

Sophomore Kyle Mutter was next for the Builders with a 78 to sit in a tie for seventh place.  Apprentice School trails Randolph-Macon College (305), Shenandoah University A team and Virginia Wesleyan (323).

The tournament concludes on Monday with a 9 am shotgun start for the final round.
