Golf Team Opens Spring Slate With Dual Match Win

MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The Apprentice School golf team opened its spring slate today with a 325-374 dual match win over Louisburg College at Myrtle Beach National – South Creek Golf Course.

Apprentice School took the first three slots in the match as junior Ben Hunter shot an even-par 72, while fellow junior Kyle Mutter added a five-over 77.  Sophomore Eric Johnston was third in the match with an 82 to help lead the Builders.

Louisburg's low man was Zach Robins with an 81, followed by Sumner Tate (84) and Ty Niday (89).

These teams will have a second dual match on Sunday morning at Murning Ridge Golf Course starting at 9 am.
