Golf Team Completes Sweep Of Spring Fling Matches In Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, SC -- The Apprentice School golf team completed its weekend swing in Myrtle Beach, SC on Sunday with a convincing 345-408 win over Louisburg College held at Murning Ridge Golf Course.

Junior Ben Hunter won the medalist honors on Sunday with a six-over-par 78 on the 6,780-yard track though cold and very windy conditions.  Sumner Tate was second from Louisburg with an 84, followed by Eric Johnston (85) and Kyle Mutter (86) from the Builders.

The Builders are now off until March 17 when they compete at the Lynchburg Invitational in Forest, Virginia.
