Golf Sits Second At Immaculata Spring Invitational

WEST CHESTER, PA. – The Apprentice School golf team recorded a spring season low round of 309 on Sunday to sit in second place at the Immaculata Spring Invitational held at Hershey Mill Golf Club.

Sophomore Eric Johnston shot a season low 72 to sit second in the event held at the 6,247 yard, par-71 course.  That marks the lowest round of the year for Johnston.  Junior Ben Hunter sits tied for fifth place with a 74 while Kyle Mutter is in seventh place with a 76.  Cody Griffith added an 87 to round out the Builders total of 309.

Albright College leads the event with a 307 to sit two strokes ahead of the Builders.  Swarthmore College is in third place with a 316, followed by Elizabethtown (323) then Wesley College and Ursinus College share fifth (325).

The final round is scheduled to tee-off on Monday at 10:30 am.
