SUFFOLK, VA. -- The Apprentice School golf team returned to the friendly and blustery confines of Sleepy Hole Golf Course and recorded a 306-333 match win over Chowan University on Friday.
Junior Ben Hunter was the medalist on the day as he carded an even-par 72 over the 6,516-yard Sleepy Hole track. Sophomore Eric Johnston was next at a 77, followed by junior Kyle Mutter (78) and senior Blake Henger was fourth carding his lowest round ever at 79.
Chowan had three players tie with an 81 - Brad Kennon, Josh Bryant and Sean Wilson.
The Builders are next scheduled to play the Roanoke Invitational on April 6-7.
