The Apprentice School golf season officially came to an end last week as a three-way match was held at Sleepy Hole Golf Course between the current team, a team of alumni from 1995-2008 and a team of alumni from 1975-1986 last week.
In a tightly contested match over a very windy Sleepy Hole course, four strokes separated the three teams. The current team won the event with a 318, followed by the 1995-2008 team at 321 and the 1975-86 squad was a stroke behind at 322.
Junior Ben Hunter took the medalist honor in the match with an even-par 72 and Eric Johnston was next with a 76. Following Hunter were Larry Smith (74) and assistant coach BJ Maben (75) from the 1995-2008 squad. George Riefler was the low man for the 1975-86 team at a 77 and he was followed by Mike Ancel with an 80.
