Golf Team Wins Second Tri-Match To Start Season

BUNN, NC – The Apprentice School golf team made it two-for-two on Friday as they swept their second tri-match to start the 2013-14 season with Surry CC and Johnston CC at The River Golf & Country Club.  Apprentice School had a 317, followed by Surry CC (320) and Johnston CC (361).

Senior Ben Hunter was the medalist for the Builders with an even-par 71 on the 6,400-yard course as the Builders carded a 317 team total.  Juniors Eric Johnston and Kyle Mutter were next with a 77 and 81 respectively.  Freshman Brett Denson had an 88 to round out the counting scorers for the Builders.

The team is now off until September 15-16 when they participate in the Bridgewater Invitational at Lakeview GC in Bridgewater, VA.
