Golf Opens Spring With Second Place In Myrtle Beach Opener

IN BRIEF: The Apprentice School golf team opened their spring season on Saturday by finishing second in a four-team event at Carolina Shores Golf & Country Club in Myrtle Beach, SC.

ON THE COURSE: The Builders had two teams in the event as Apprentice School Maroon combined for a 330, while the Apprentice School Gold had 371.

Senior Ben Hunter was the low man for the Builders with a 76, while junior Kyle Mutter came in with a 78 to lead the maroon squad.  Brett Denson was the top man for the golf squad with a 90.

Surry Community College was the low team in the event with a 306, with Johnston Community College in third at 344.
