Golf Team Opens With Tight Match At SUNY Delhi

ON THE COURSE: The Apprentice School golf team opened its season on Friday afternoon with a tightly contested match with fellow U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association member SUNY Delhi and lost 313-320.

Freshman Tim Moore was the low-man for the Builders in his first collegiate match as he shot a four-over-par 76 to finish second overall.  Senior Kyle Mutter was next for the Builders coming in with a 77 to finish in third.  A pair of freshmen were the other counting scorers for the Builders as Perry Barber was next with an 83 and Toby Tapman came in with an 84.

SUNY Delhi was topped by Dillon Marsh-McGregor who was the medalist on the day with a 74, while Eric Walling was next with a 78.

NEXT UP: These teams are scheduled to have another dual match on the Delhi College Golf Course on Sunday morning starting at 9 am.
