Golf Team Finishes 16th At Tom Kinder Memorial

IN BRIEF: The Apprentice School golf team dropped two strokes off their Saturday round total on the final day of the Tom Kinder Memorial in Harrisonburg and finished with a 333 round total and a 668 tournament total.  The Builders finished 16th in the 18 team event.

ON THE COURSE

  • Senior Kyle Mutter was the leading finisher for the Builders this weekend as he carded a seven-over-par 79 to finish tied for 46th with a 157 total.
  • Freshman Tim Moore dropped one stroke from day one to day two as he shot an 85 on Sunday to finish alone in 75th place with a 171.
  • The remaining team members this weekend finished as part of a four-way tie for 79th place.  Freshmen Toby Tapman (86 on Sunday) and Perry Barber (93) were joined by sophomore Chris Davis (83) to finish with 175 for the weekend.

The Builders will now compete Septemer 20-21 in the Shenandoah Invitational at Shenandoah Valley Golf Course in Winchester, Va.
