IN BRIEF: Freshman Tim Moore shot a 77 to win medalist honors as The Apprentice School golf team shot a season-best 314 round on Wednesday afternoon to win the Mid-Atlantic Christian University Invitational at The Pines Golf Course.
ON THE COURSE
- Moore won his first medalist honor as he shot five-over par on the nearly 6700-yard course in Elizabeth City, NC.
- Finishing a stroke behind him were fellow freshman Perry Barber and senior Kyle Mutter each with 78.
- Joining Matt Cooper of host Mid-Atlantic Christian in a tie for fourth place was freshman Phillip Nelson who shot nine-over-par 81.
- Rounding out the Builders on Wednesday was sophomore Toby Tapman who finished in seventh place with an 87.

The Builders will finish their fall slate at the 2014 United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Championships in State College, Pa. on October 13-14.
