IN BRIEF: The Builders had a rough Saturday in the second round of the Marine Federal Credit Union Intercollegiate as they shot 361 on Saturday for a two-day total of 660.
ON THE COURSE
- Freshman Phillip Nelson was the low man for the Builders on Saturday with a 13-over-par round of 85.
- Tim Moore was next in line with a 90, followed by Perry Barber (92) and Will Hunter (94) to round out the counting scorers. Chris Davis rounded out the team on Saturday as he came in with a 97.
FIRST ROUND UPDATE
- A late Friday thunderstorm prevented the tournament from completing on Friday as two teams had to finish one hole before the second round could begin on Saturday.
- The Builders ended the first round tied for 12th out of 29 teams with a 299. Barber was credited with a 75 on Friday to drop the score to a 299.
FINAL ROUND - Scarlet Division
The Builders will compete for the Scarlet Division Championship with the third and final round on Sunday morning. The top 15 teams in the 29-team field will compete for the Gold Division, while the remainder of the field competes for the Scarlet Division.
