Golf Season To Kick Off This Weekend in Myrtle Beach

The 2019 Builder Golf season kicks off this weekend in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with a match against Roanoke College. After the weekend match in Myrtle Beach, the Builders will travel to St. Cloud, Florida for the Shenandoah University Invitational on March 14th and 15th. Last season the Builders were led by Austin Saylor, Jordan Plogger and Banner Robson, all three will return for the spring season.

Coach Joey Maben had this to say about the upcoming season. "Coach BJ and I our excited for our team as we will make our 1st trip to Florida in Apprentice School Golf history. We have been invited to play in the Shenandoah Invitational in St. Cloud Florida. We bring back three strong players in Austin Saylor, Jordan Plogger and Banner Robson all three had a scoring average under 80 last season. David Grimm will round out the top 4. New comers Lane Pritchett, Paul Bodensick and William Graves will work hard for the 5th spot. As always our Spring season ends in Williamsburg for my Coaches tournament, The Glenn Heath Memorial."

The Builders are looking to improve on last year's season and compete at a high level this spring. For coverage of the 2019 season, stay tuned to gobuilders.com and @GoBuilderSports on twitter!
