Builders Finish Spring Trip to Florida

RECAP: The Builders finsihed third this week in the Shenandoah Invitational. The Builders had another strong showing at the beginning of their season with little practice time. At the end of the 1st round, the Builders finished with a team score of 343. Jordan Plogger led the way with a score of 76, just 4 strokes over par. Austin Saylor also had a solid round shooting a score of 84 for the Builders.

The Builders showed great improvement in the second round, finishing with a team score of 325. Austin Saylor led the way in round 2 with a score of 76, an 8 stroke improvement from round 1. Banner Robson had a solid day as well, finishing with a score of 81, a 12 stroke improvement from round 1. In total, the Builders finished with a team score of 668 and fell to Southern Virginia and Shenandoah University. 

Coaches BJ and Joey Maben are optimistic about the team this season and are looking forward to seeing the success that comes in the Builders this year. The Builders are back on the course April 4th through 6th for the Camp Lejune Invitational in Jacksonville, NC.
