Golf Season Set To Begin on August 31st in Delhi, NY

The Builders 2019 Fall campaign is set to begin this weekend for a match at SUNY, Delhi (NY). First round action will begin on Saturday, August 31st with second round action on Sunday, September 1st. The Builders have six events scheduled for the fall seaosn. After this weekend's match, the Builders will then travel to Winchester, VA for a match against Shenandoah on September 8th & 9th. The Builders will then head to Bridgewater, VA for the Bridgewater Invitational on September 16th & 17th, followed by a trip to Glen Allen, VA for the Ted Keller Invitational on September 22nd & 23rd. 

The USCAA National Tournament will once again be held in State College, Pennsylvania. The Builders will compete for a National Championship on October 7th & 8th. The Builders have captured two USCAA titles, first in 2005-06 and then again in 2006-07, the Builders will look to reclaim their title from the past decade. The Builders had another strong showing last season, finishing 6th in the 2018 National Tournament. Austin Saylor finished as a 2nd Team USCAA All American last season. 

The Builders will conclude their season at the VSGA State Championship on October 14th & 15th in Blacksburg, VA. 

Head Coach Joey Maben competes this season returning all 7 players from his 2019 spring roster. Austin Saylor (72.5 Fall Average Score) and Banner Robson (77.7 Fall Average Score) look to lead the Builders into a successful fall season. Paul Bodensick, William Graves,David Grimm, Jordan Plogger and Lane Pritchett all bring valuable experience to the table and look to improve on their previous seasons with the Builders. Newcomers Zach Welch and Nathan Gross will look to positively contribute to the team this fall as well. 

Maben had this to say on the 2019 campaign, "We return all 7 players from the Spring and have added Zach Welch (M53) and the 2018 #1 player from the Peninsula High School District, Nathan Gross (X43). With BJ working with the team and concentrating on our course management we plan for a very successful season."
