MOUNT OLIVE, NC - Junior Rahshann Lewter scored 13 points and had nine rebounds, while senior Tyechia Cooke added 11 points as the Apprentice School lost 71-50 at Division II Mount Olive College on Wednesday night.

The first half saw the teams tie early at 4-all before the host Trojans went on a 16-4 run over a nearly 11 minute span of the half for a 20-8 advantage on an Alisa Jones bucket with 7:11 left.  Apprentice School closed the gap to eight points twice, the last coming on a Monica Williams free throw with nine seconds left in the half for a halftime score of 29-21 Mount Olive.

In the second half the Trojans outscored the Lady Builders 14-8 in the first six minutes of the half to take a 43-29 advantage on a 3-pointer from Brittany Robich with 14:08 left.  The lead eventually grew to as much as 23 points in the second half as Alisa Jones hit a jumper with 4:03 left for a 67-44 lead.  Tomeka Prichard, Jones and Robich all had 14 points to lead Mount Olive (4-2).

The Lady Builders play their lone home game in December on Saturday with a 2 pm tipoff against Peace College.
