Lady Builders Knock Off Central Maine 86-49

AUBURN, MAINE – Sophomore Courtney Collins scored 18 points to lead four in double figures for the Apprentice School as they defeated U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association member Central Maine CC 86-49 on Saturday.

The Lady Builders jumped out to a 40-19 halftime advantage and pulled to as much as a 43 point lead in the second half on the strength of hitting 56.8% (21-of-37) from the floor in the final half.

Senior Tyisha Battle had 15 points and seven rebounds, while junior Tamara Davis added 12 points and 14 rebounds and Tysheka Simpson chipped in 10 points for Apprentice School (2-0).

These teams will play again on Sunday morning at 10 am in Kirk Hall on the CMCC campus.
