The Apprentice School Lady Builders basketball team, coming off a record-setting 23-2 regular season, were featured on an internet TV news show for Newport News Shipyard entitled Focus NNS.
The show, produced by NNS Communications and Training Departments, recognizes special events and activities in the shipyard. The current episode features a clip on the recent Apprentice School graduation ceremony, an all-hands meeting in the Virginia Class Submarine program and the Lady Builders basketball team.
The segment on the Lady Builders starts at approximately six minutes into the episode and wraps up the program.
Apprentice School will next see action on Wednesday, March 7 at 11:15 am facing St. Mary Of The Woods in the first round of the 2012 U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association National Championships in Uniontown, Pa.
