The Apprentice School Lady Builders return to action to start their 2013 schedule heading to Buena Vista, Va. tonight to face U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association in-state rival Southern Virginia University.

Apprentice School (5-6) hits the floor again tonight after falling twice in the York College (PA) Coaches vs. Cancer Classic on December 29-30.  Junior Danita Whitaker leads the team in scoring (10.8 ppg) and in rebounding (9.7 rpg).  Fellow junior April McCoy is second in both scoring (10.1 ppg) and rebounding (7.4 rpg).

Tonight marks the first game for Southern Virginia University (3-4) since December 7 when they lost to Lynchburg College 61-59 in Lynchburg.  This is also the first home game of the season for the Knights.  SVU is topped by freshman Crystal Cleveland who leads the team in scoring (9.3 ppg) and rebounding (10.3 rpg).

There will be a video feed of tonight's contest through Southern Virginia University Sports Information Department and you can access it by clicking here.
