Apprentice School (9-12) enters the game after a 52-38 loss on Tuesday night to in-state rival Southern Virginia University.  Sophomore Shanae Hilliard was the leading scorer with 18 points, while junior Danita Whitaker hauled in 12 rebounds and junior April McCoy had 10 boards.

Voorhees College (12-12) enters after defeating Allen University 74-46 on Thursday night.  Kierra Patterson paced four in double figures with 15 points.

The previously scheduled game with Barber-Scotia College on February 10 was dropped due to Barber-Scotia cancelling their women's season earlier last month.

MEN'S BASKETBALL (14-8)

The men's basketball team has a busy weekend as they have a two-game road swing starting tonight with a rematch at Virginia University of Lynchburg at 7 pm in the Lynchburg City Armory.

These teams closed out the 2013 Martin Luther King Classic at Apprentice School on January 20 and the Builders scored a 96-85 overtime win over the Dragons.  Johnnie Ferebee paced five in double figures that day with 21 points to lead the Builders.

Virginia University Lynchburg (10-19) has lost four in a row as Dennis Gravely is leading four in double figures for the team at 13.8 points per game.

On Saturday, the team will be in Media, PA ., to face Williamson Trade in a rematch of a January 19 game from the MLK Classic as Apprentice School scored a 70-60 victory.  The Mechanics are 16-8 and are topped by Justin Swift in scoring (17.1 ppg) and in rebounds (6.9 rpg).
