Apprentice School Lady Builder junior Shanae Hilliard not only launched a half-court bank shot at the buzzer on Saturday for a 67-66 win over Salem College, but launched the Apprentice School into unchartered territory – ESPN.
Hilliard's heave, which helped snap a 16-game winning streak for Salem College, landed The Apprentice School at #2 on the 11pm ESPN SportsCenter Top 10 plays. No other Apprentice School team has made ESPN highlights in at least the last 15 years.
