Lady Builders Open Alabama Swing With 65-37 Win At Selma

SELMA, AL – The Apprentice School Lady Builders opened a key weekend swing in Alabama as they used a strong second half run to defeat the Bulldogs of Selma University 65-37.

After struggling in the first 10 minutes to get any shots to drop, the Lady Builders started to find a little offense and took a 27-18 lead into the locker room at halftime.  In the second half, they found their stride and outscored the hosts 38-18 and cruise to the 28-point victory.

Jessica Neighbors was leading scorer with 15 points, Courtney White added 12 points with three 3-pointers while Quanisha Bruce had 10 points and 17 rebounds for the Lady Builders.

They will need all the scoring runs they can muster on Sunday as they travel across town to Concordia University to face the Hornets in a 1pm EST start.  Concordia, the defending United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Champions, are 20-3 and have won 20 in a row averaging over 75 points per game.
