Lady Builders Fall 100-78 To Top-Ranked Concordia

SELMA, AL . -- The Apprentice School Lady Builders closed out their two-game swing in Alabama falling 100-78 to United States Collegiate Athletic Association top-ranked Concordia University on Sunday.

A tightly contested first half saw neither team take more than a five-point advantage as the host Hornets pulled away late for a 45-40 first half advantage.  In the second half, the hosts found their stride and scored the big win.

Freshman Ylexzis Traeger scored 20 points going 8-for-12 from the floor and hitting all four of her free throws to lead the Lady Builders.  Junior Kenya Wilkerson had 19 points, six assists, seven rebounds and two steals while sophomore Jessica Neighbors added 10 points to lead the Lady Builders.

Apprentice School now travels to Elizabeth City, NC for a pair of games in the Chesson Classic starting Friday night against Central Penn College at 6 pm on the campus of Mid-Atlantic Christian University.
