The Lady Builders held off a scrappy Voorhees team to clinch a 68-60 victory on Saturday afternoon. Ylexzis Traeger scored a game-high 18 points and added eight assists as they won their third consecutive game.
ON THE COURT
- The Lady Builders had three players in double-figures with Traeger scoring a game-high 18 points.
- Julissa Riddick added 14 points while Latrice Washington contributed 11 points.
- Quanisha Bruce grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.
- The Lady Builders forced 32 turnovers defensively. The team had 15 steals, with Latrice Washington grabbing eight steals.
- The Apprentice School went to the charity stripe 43 times in the game and converted 26 of them.
- Voorhees was led by Ca'washa Caesar, who scored 16 points.
The Lady Builders will be back in action early next week as they head to Pennsylvania for a quick two-game road trip. The team will face Carlow on Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. before playing Penn State-Beaver on Tuesday evening.
