The Lady Builders women's basketball team defeated Blue State 67-58 on Saturday afternoon. Ylexzis Traeger had a game-high 18 points as the Lady Builders had four players score in double figures.

ON THE COURT:

• Ylexzis Traeger had a game-high 18 points on 7-for-11 shooting from the field.
• Quanisha Bruce came off the bench and added 15 points and 17 rebounds for a double-double.
• Julissa Riddick scored 12 points and added five assists and five rebounds.
• Aquazia Jones contributed 10 points and five rebounds.
• The Lady Builders outrebouned the Big Blue 41-25 and scored 18 second-chance points.
• Bluefield State was led by Lyric Hampton, who scored 17 points off the bench.

The Apprentice School will be back in action on Sunday afternoon as they face Bluefield College at 2 p.m.
