IN BRIEF: The Lady Builders hosted the Mid Atlantic Christian Mustangs on Tuesday evening in the Quarterfinal matchup of the Eastern Metro Athletic Conference Tournament. The two teams squared off for a chance to face Clinton College on Friday afternoon in the EMAC Semi Final game. 

With the score tied at 4-4, the Lady Builders would hold the Mustangs scoreless for the next 14 minutes of the game to jump ahead to a 26-4 lead with 5 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter. The Mustangs would cut that lead by 2 points heading to the half as the Lady Buiders led by a score of 32-12 at the midway point of the game. 

The Lady Builders would heat up in the second half for 44 points on their way to a commanding 76-38 victory over the Mustangs. Aquazia Jones led the way with 21 points and 18 rebounds. Brittany Jones added 16 points off the bench. With the win, the Lady Builders improved to 6-16 on the season.

• Alexis Wethington had 13 points and 11 rebounds
