The wrestling team will close out its December schedule this weekend with its annual visit to Catonsville, Maryland for the University of Maryland Baltimore County Duals on Saturday.

Five teams will participate in the annual event giving the Builders (6-1) four dual matches on Saturday starting at 10 am with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute of Troy, NY.  Following a bye, the Builders will wrestle three straight dual matches against Gloucester County Community College, the host UMBC Retrievers and ending with Penn State Mont Alto.

Sophomore heavyweight Ian Jones leads the team in victories with a 14-2 record after placing third at the York College (PA) Invitational last weekend.  Fellow sophomore Sterling Briscoe is next with a 13-3 mark at 149 pounds.  Freshman Phillip Porto (165) and senior Kevin Gray (235/285) are just behind them with 11 wins apiece.

After this weekend, the Builders are off until January 5 when they travel to Waynesburg, Pa. for the Waynesburg Invitational.
