Apprentice School sophomore Jacob Michael was named on Tuesday as the U.S. Collegiate Wrestling Association Wrestler Of The Week for the week ending January 26.

Michael, a sophomore pipefitter apprentice from Bridgewater, VA., went 4-0 with a tech fall win and a win by fall as the Builders went 4-2 to finish fourth out of 24 teams in the National Collegiate Wrestling Association Collegiate Cup Duals in Dalton, Georgia.

Heading into February, Michael is 23-11 with 13 of those wins by fall at 125 pounds.  He joins teammates Josh Rodriguez and Kenny Lowry as USCAA Wrestlers of the Week this year.

Weather permitting, the next scheduled match for the Builders will take place on Sunday morning in the Builder Duals.  Pay attention to the website later this week to confirm match times and location for the Builder Duals.
