IN BRIEF: Four Builders had perfect afternoons as the wrestling team went 4-0 to win the University of Scranton Electric City Duals for the fifth time in the last six years on Saturday.

ON THE MAT VS. PENN COLLEGE
The Builders opened the day with a matchup against the Wildcats of Penn College and opened up with a pair of wins by fall from Jacob Michael (125 lbs/2:30) and Michael Holcomb (141/1:15) as they jumped out to an 18-0 lead.
Penn College won three of the next four bouts to trim the lead to 21-10 after 174 pounds.  From there, the Builders used a Josh Rodriguez major decision win at 197 pounds with a pair of wins by forfeit to take a 37-10 victory.

ON THE MAT VS. PENN STATE DUBOIS
For the first time this year, the Builders trailed in a dual match after losing at 125 pounds.  Thomas Payne got them on the board with a major decision win 18-6 at 133 pounds to trim the deficit to 6-4.  Holcomb followed with a decision win at 141 to get the Builders the lead 7-6.  That helped them win six straight bouts to take a 24-6 lead after a Daniel Henson decision win at 174 pounds.
The teams alternated wins in the final four bouts as Rodriguez won by fall at 197 pounds (2:52) and Ian Jones at heavyweight (4:52) for a 36-15 win.

ON THE MAT VS. UMBC
The Builders raced out to a lead against the Retrievers as five of the first six wins by the Builders were with bonus points.  Michael started with a tech fall win 17-0 at 125 and the run ended with a Chris Kennedy win by fall at 157 (3:26) and a Foxworth tech fall 24-9 win at 165 to lead 28-0.
Apprentice School closed that match with a pair of wins by forfeit and a pair of wins by fall from Rodriguez at 235 (2:10) and Jones at heavyweight (2:00) for the 52-3 win.

ON THE MAT VS. SCRANTON
Against the host team, the Builders opened with a pair of six-point wins by Michael with a win by fall at 125 (1:44) and a forfeit win by Payne for a 12-0 advantage.
The teams alternated wins in the next five bouts as Scranton used a pair of wins by fall to trim the deficit to 22-15 after 174 pounds.
Apprentice School won the final three bouts by forfeit for the 40-15 win.

BUILDER BITS

• Thomas Payne, Patrik Foxworth and Josh Rodriguez all went 4-0 on the day for the Builders while Ian Jones was 3-0.
• Jacob Michael, Michael Holcomb and Kenny Lowry (184) were 3-1 on the afternoon.
• This marked the fifth time in the last six years and the second year in a row that the Builders have won the Electric City Duals.

NEXT UP
The Builders are off until Nov. 21 when they'll have a pair of dual matches in Arlington, Texas against University of Texas-Arlington and University of North Texas.  The next day they'll participate in the Southwest Open hosted by UTA.
