Apprentice School senior heavyweight Ian Jones was named on Tuesday as the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Wrestler of the Week for the week ending January 18.

Jones, a heavy metal fabricator apprentice from Painesville, Ohio, became the all-time wins leader in school history as he went 4-0 with three wins by fall to capture the Builder Invitational on Saturday.  For his career he now holds a 138-31 record.

He marks the fourth Builder to win the award this year joining Ty Watkins, Josh Rodriguez and Thomas Payne as USCAA winners.

The Builders return to action on Friday afternoon in Dalton, Georgia at the 2015 National Collegiate Wrestling Association National Duals.  They are in round-robin action early Friday against East Tennessee State University and a rematch with the University of North Texas starting at 2 pm.  The Builders defeated North Texas 48-18 in December during a tri-match in Arlington, Texas.
