2018-19: NATIONAL RUNNER-UP. Entered the NCWA National Championships as the defending National Champ and #1 seed. Advanced to finals with a two pins and two major decisions before falling to 2017 NAIA Runner-Up David Campbell of Grays Harbor. VaSID Second Team All-State. 45-9 season record. 45 wins tied for 3rd most in school history. MAC Champion. USCAA Champion. Builder Invitational Champion. Waynesburg Invitational 2nd. 2017-18: 125 pound NATIONAL CHAMPION...Entered the NCWA National Championship as the #2 seed...Defeated four of the other seven All-Americans, on his way way to the title...Avenged his only NCWA loss of the season, in the championship finals to the #1 seed, Byron Smith, of Middle Tennessee, by way of a 15-8 major decision...Finished the season with an overall record of 33-7, capturing titles at the USCAA National Invitational, the Builder Invitational and Virginia Beach Nationals...Had an 11-1 record in dual meets...16 of 33 wins with bonus points...VaSID Second Team All-State...VaSID Academic All-State Team
