Assistant Coach

The second four-time NCWA All-American in school history, Chevres' main focus is the development of the lightweights. 

As a student-athlete, Chevres earned NCWA All-American honors finishing second in 2009 and 2010 at 133 pounds and taking third in 2011 and 2012 also at 133. 

Chevres was named Builder "Wrestler of the Decade" for the 2010-2019 era.  He was also a four-time Mid-Atlantic Conference champion.  He was the school's first three-time honoree on the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association All-State Wrestling team, and was a member of the 2008-2009 team that won the school's first and only NCWA National Championship.

He graduated from the Apprentice School in February, 2013 as an outside machinist and was jjust inducted into the Apprentice School Athletic Hall of Fame.

"Chevy" is currently an Outside Machinist Supervisor on the Carrier.  He and his wife Ashley have three sons, Liam, Elias and Zeke.
