Seven Builders Named to All-USCAA Football Team

NEWS: Seven Builders have earned all USCAA honors for their efforts on the field this season. Coach John Davis had this to say on his team's individual and team success.

"Each season is its own marathon. It's always great to see new faces emerge as key players. We were a very young football team so seeing so many sophomores on the team is a testament to how well this staff has recruited and developed players over the last two seasons....

I'm especially proud of Jaivon Walker who made a commitment to be a more disciplined player in our defense and it truly showed this season. He played with a renewed vigor and passion.

Rodney has been a team leader and the glue that kept our offense together. He was the only Senior we had on the offensive side of the ball. He is truly going to be missed."

The Builders finished the year 6-4. After a 5-1 start, many key injuries left the Builders shorthanded and facing an up hill battle against tough Division 3 opponents. The Builders battled hard all year, winning at Palmetto Prep with only 14 players on offense. It was a year of growth for a team that only featured 4 seniors. Congrats to these individual Builders for their success on the field this season.
