Builders Defeat Royals, Move to 4-2 On The Season

IN BRIEF: The Builders trailed early in this game but pulled away in the 1st half to hold on to a 5 point lead at halftime. The Royals would fight back in the 2nd half and trim the Builder lead to 1 with just 9 minutes to go. A three pointer by Sam Morris brought the Builders back to a 4 point lead and a layup by Drew Walton on the next possession extended the lead to 48 to 42 with about 8 minutes to go.

The Builders would keep the Royals at bay and never let their lead slip under 3 points. With 2:17 remaining in the game the Builders held a 60-52 lead. Clean defense and steady free throw shooting helped the Builders finish off the Royals for their 4th win of the season. With the loss, Regent moves to 0-4 on the season. These two teams will square off again after the holidays on January 18th here at The Apprentice School.
