Starting our recap of the top 10 games of 2012-13 is the golf team with a second place showing in the Immaculata Invitational.
Coming off three rough rounds, two of those at the Lynchburg Invitational, the Apprentice School golf team was looking to gain a little momentum heading into the final stretch of the 2013 Spring season. With a new event on the schedule, the Builders headed to West Chester, PA to participate in the 12-team Immaculata Spring Invitational.
Sophomore Eric Johnston came in with his low round of the season with a one-over-par 72 to lead the Builders in what turned out to be a one-round event due to weather. The Builders carded a 309 round to finish second in the event just two shots behind Albright College.
As a group, the Builders had three in the top seven as juniors Ben Hunter (74/T5th), and Kyle Mutter (76/7th) also among the top of the leaderboard.
Be on the lookout Friday for #9 on the list of top 10 games of 2012-13.
