Men's Basketball Heads For Big USCAA Matchup At Southern Virginia

The Apprentice School men's basketball team will hit the road this weekend for a key U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association matchup at Southern Virginia University on Saturday.

After a 3-0 weekend in the 2013 Martin Luther King Classic, the Builders are now 13-6 on the year and are ranked seventh in the latest USCAA Division I Coaches Poll.  Southern Virginia, who defeated the University of Mary Washington 63-53 on Wednesday night and is fifth in the coaches poll, is 10-3 on the year and have a 24-game home court winning streak on the line.  The last time SVU lost at home was to the Builders on Feb. 13, 2010.

A link to watch the game via live-stream video can be accessed here or off the men's basketball schedule page.  Apprentice School will return to action on Tuesday night in Elizabeth City, NC facing Mid-Atlantic Christian University at 7 pm.
